For instance Microsoft could make a little patch for windows xp to allow those handy explorer functions.
when you copy something that he tells you that there already is a folder there with that exact name, do you want to merge folders?

in the same area you have this other improvement. when you rename a file but there already is a file with that name he should as you if you wan to replace the file or if you want to continue editing the name, he should however do something more then just notify you that the file is there and go back to the old filename.

Another funny thing i keep noticing is that teachers always ask the wrong questions. they ask for instance: who can't read the blackboard. While they should ask: who can read the blackboard?, and students that don't put up there hand are either sleeping or can't read the board. A teacher should know that students are lazy, so you always have to ask questions where the answer will be yes so they have to do something.
